Nobody at Manuce reads your files. They are processed by our language engine, stored on servers in France in your personal workspace, and deleted as soon as you request. They do not feed any training.

Who translates my documents?
A latest-generation linguistic engine, configured domain by domain by our teams: each specialist (Thémis for legal, Métis for financial…) carries a precise specification for the vocabulary, register and conventions of its domain. No person reads your files.
What is the quality compared to a human translator?
For standard professional documents, the result is directly usable and consistent throughout the entire document. For a deed with legal value requiring a sworn translation, review by a certified translator remains essential: we state this in our terms and conditions.
How is the price calculated?
Based on the number of words actually present in your file, counted on upload, and on the quality level chosen: Essential (0.58 ct per word), Professional (1.8 ct) or Premium (3.5 ct, cross-checking included). The rate is tiered and degressive, with a minimum per language of €3.50, €5 or €12 depending on the level; original layout included, formatting offered, no additional charge. The total is rounded up to the nearest euro, and the quote is displayed before any payment.
Are all languages priced the same?
No. Common languages with Latin script (English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch) are charged at the base rate. Other European languages carry a 25% supplement, non-Latin scripts and Asian and Middle Eastern languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Thai…) 60%, rare languages 100%. The supplement applies in both directions: translating from Chinese costs the same as into Chinese. It is displayed next to each language before the quote.
What's the difference between the three levels?
Three engines of increasing power. Essential faithfully renders the meaning, for understanding or working internally. Professional entrusts the text to the specialist in the field and produces a document ready to send. Premium uses the most advanced engine then has each passage reviewed, source and translation side by side, for documents that carry commitment. The free extract uses the level you have chosen: you compare before you pay.
Can I test before paying?
Yes, twice. On this page, with a pasted paragraph. Then, after uploading your document, on an extract from it, in the language of your choice and by the selected specialist.
Which formats do you accept?
Word (.docx), PDF, PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx), text, Markdown, HTML, RTF and CSV, up to 40 MB. Scanned PDFs without a text layer are not yet supported.
And the language files of websites and apps: JSON, YAML, PO and POT, XLIFF, Android strings.xml, iOS .strings and .xcstrings, Java .properties, .NET .resx, Flutter .arb. You get the same file back, with only the values translated.
How long does it take?
A few minutes for a document of a few dozen pages. You receive an email as soon as the files are ready, and they await you in your space.
What if the translation has a defect?
If you notice a substantial defect (untranslated passage, wrong language, unreadable file), report it to contact@rocket-ia.fr within thirty days of delivery: the service will be redone at no charge or, failing that, the affected part of the order will be refunded. If a technical incident prevents delivery within 48 hours, the order is refunded in full (GTC, articles 7 and 9).
Where are my files stored, and for how long?
On our servers in France, in your personal space, for as long as you wish. You can request their deletion at any time.
How does the business space work?
You create the workspace, enter the company's tax identity, add your logo and invite your colleagues. Each person sees their own documents, you see overall usage. The workspace is free during launch; you only pay for the words translated, −25%, on a monthly invoice to the company's identity.
