Translate an audit report

An audit report circulates between people who do not yet trust each other. Its translation must be impeccable on figures and cautious on qualifiers — it is an exercise in precision, not style.

Professional
156 €

By comparison, a translation agency charges between 1 080 € and 1 800 € for the same document, within five to ten working days. VAT not applicable — article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI) Original layout included. Exact quote displayed before payment, after file upload.

Numbers aren't translated, they're transposed

A French thousand separator becomes an English-language separator, a decimal comma becomes a decimal point. A translated report that leaves "1 234,56" as is in an English version creates an ambiguity of factor one thousand. The financial specialist applies the convention of the target language.

However, the amounts themselves and the currency never change: you don't convert euros into dollars in a translation.

The vocabulary of qualifications

A qualified opinion, a disclaimer, an unqualified observation: these formulas have standardised meanings and precise equivalents in English (qualified opinion, disclaimer of opinion, emphasis of matter). Les rendre approximativement change la portée du rapport.

Confidentiality, in practice

An audit report is often the most sensitive document in an operation. Files uploaded to Manuce remain in your workspace, on servers in France, are read by no one at Manuce and do not feed any training. You can delete them at any time. If your internal procedure requires it, the Business workspace allows access to be partitioned by user.

Frequently asked questions

Do financial tables remain usable?

Yes: an Excel returns as Excel, cell by cell, with its formulas. A table in a Word returns in the Word, in its place.

Who has access to my documents?

You alone, from your workspace. No one at Manuce reads your files, storage in France, no training on your files, deletion on request.
